Job Opportunity – Procurement Officer
Reporting to the Procurement and Administration Manager, the job holder will be required to assist the Procurement and Administration Manager in carrying out purchasing functions involving procurement of works, goods and services while considering the value for money principle in order to ensure compliance with tender procedure in line with the Public Procurement Act No. 12 of 2008.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the procurement functions are undertaken in line with the Public Procurement Act.
- Ensuring that all procurement requests are handled in the shortest possible time so as to guarantee continuity of supplies and services to the Board.
- Undertaking all procurement activities for the Board, in liaison with relevant Officers to ensure that only required goods, works and services are procured timely
- Managing the opening and closing of Tenders on behalf of Management.
- Taking custody of updated records on procurement for inspection by audit and Zambia Public Procurement Authority
- Preparation of relevant Procurement Reports such as Evaluation, Negotiation, Tender Opening/Closing etc.
- Management/Monitoring of all Contracts entered into by the Board.

Job Opportunity – Assistant Internal Auditor
Reporting to the internal Auditor, the job holder will be required to assist the internal Auditor in carrying out audit tests of the accounting and internal control systems and procedures in the institution in order to assess their effectiveness and efficiency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist in carrying out compliance testing on the accounting and internal control systems and procedures in order to check their effectiveness and ensure that accounting and other operational standards are adhered to.
- To assist in carrying out tests, checks on accounting and operational information as well as other Departments to ensure completeness and accuracy
- To assist and liaise with internal and External Auditors in carrying out their duties effectively in order to adhere to the Workers’ Compensation Act.
- To assist in carrying out periodic systems reliability tests to confirm the efficiency and appropriateness of internal controls and procedures and prepares action reports.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- Diploma in Accounting such as Natech, ATD,ZDA or part qualified ACCA,CIMA,ZICA.
- Must have Zambia Institute of Chartered Accoutants (ZICA) membership.
- At least 2 years relevant experience
