Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Experience with the geology of the Karoo Supergroup;
Experience in managing mud rotary and/or RC drill programmes;
Geologist with the use of binocular microscope for rock chip identification;

Experience in professional multi-discipline team participation and leadership;
Safety, Health, Environment protection and Community engagement programme awareness;

Bachelor of Science (Geology), preferably with Honours, or higher
Continued professional development and technical training appropriate to age/experience;

Valid light vehicle driver’s licence
Physically fit for field work;
Good communication skills, self-motivated and professional;
Willing to ensure that Kalaharl GeoEnergy’s resources (its people, equipment and money) are used in a timely, focused and effective manner and to accept responsibility for so doing

Such an appointment would initially be on a contract basis.
