Livestock Services Cooperative Society (LSCS) is a non-profit making organisation that was established and registered in 1991 under the Cooperative Act with the objective of providing a full range of quality inputs at the lowest possible prices to the Zambian farming community as well as provision of technical support services.
The cooperative is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Systems Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensuring systems security compliance
- Monitoring of disaster recovery site, testing and reporting to management
- Evaluating, designing ,developing, implementing and maintaining of IT systems in consultation with senior management, in line with the cooperative’s information technology needs
- Building, maintaining vendor relationships and managing the purchase of hardware and software
- Network, windows operating systems, email administration and maintenance
- Interaction with internal clients at all levels to help resolve IT related issues as well as providing answers/responses in a timely manner
- Ensuring minimum down time of computer systems throughout the cooperative
- Any other related duties that may be assigned to you from time to time
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications — NCC, Degree in Computer Science
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
