Assistant Manager ICT Project and Operations
Job Purpose
To plan and control the designing and installation of all software applications which include business system, electronic banking and database applications so as to optimize business operations
Duties and Responsibilities
• To Design, develop and deploy application software
• To produce technical and user documentation of deployed application software
• To document the software development processes that are used in the production of application software
• To carry out the application the application system requirement process and produce required documentation
• To Carry out the application software maintenance as and when the need arises and produce required documentation
• To carry out software maintenance as and when the needs arises and produce relevant documentation
• To design, implement and maintain an overall risk management process and procedure
• To conduct software process reviews and recommends process improvements
• To critically analyse data and information and information recommend solutions to problems

Qualification and experience
• Grade twelve certificate with five (5)’O’ levels
• Degree in Information Technology,Bsc in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years in an ICT firm preferably in financial institution

• Good understanding of relational Database management software
• Knowledge of C,C++, Ruby on rails,PHP, Linux bash scripting,HTML5, Jva Script.
• Knowledge of linux and windows operating systems
• Knowledge of database management systems (MYSql,Sql Server,etc)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Software Engineering and programming skills
• System analysis and design skill programming skills
• Project management skills

• Security management skills
• Disaster management and contingent planning skill
