The Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC(CEC)is an independent power transmission and distribution company with interests in closely linked businesses in Zambia and the Africa region.

Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic individuals to take up the following position

To carry out repairs and maintenance of all motor Vehicles at CEC in compliance with required engineering standards in order to order to sustain company operation

• To carry out routine maintenance on all motor vehicles in order to ensure their reliability for company operation
• To carry out repairs on detectives vehicles which diagnosis, dismantling replacement or reconditioning of the parts, assembling and testing of completed vehicles
• To undertake repair and maintenance on the diesel generators to ensure optimum perform
• Recover vehicles which break down outside the plant for security purpose
• To carry out automotive repair activities in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure that the same are performed right the first time
• To undertake any other jobs that may be added from time to time in compliance with company programs of multi-skilling
• Undertake and complete given assignment s within allocated time frame to avoid unnecessary overtime
• To ensure that all company resources in the garage are used solely for company purposes and there is no misuse assets such as vehicles, tools and other materials

• Full grade twelve certificate
• Craft or Technician certificate in Automotive
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Experience in mobile crane hydraulics and diesel plant will be an advantage
• Valid class B or C in driver’s license
• Must be a member
